# Boldflow

> Boldflow is a quoting engine for refrigeration and ACMV (air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation) firms. It reads incoming RFQs from email, PDF and spreadsheet attachments, matches each requested item to the firm's own parts catalogue and pricing rules, and drafts a priced, branded quote for a person to review before it is sent. It is built for integrators and distributors in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

## What it does

- Reads RFQs arriving by email, including PDF and spreadsheet attachments.
- Matches each line to the firm's own catalogue and part numbers, for any equipment brand the firm stocks.
- Applies the firm's pricing rules: margins, discounts, customer rates, ex-works cost, freight and landed-cost build-up, and quantity bands.
- Flags lines it is unsure about, such as discontinued parts, substitutions that are not pin compatible, or quantities the RFQ did not state, instead of guessing.
- Adds service lines such as commissioning, on-site engineering and certified F-gas recovery at the firm's standard day rates.
- Drafts the quote and cover note for review. Nothing is sent to the customer without a person approving it.

Refrigeration and ACMV integrators, contractors and parts distributors that receive more RFQs than their sales engineers can quote, and that lose margin to pricing errors found after a job is won.
